Currently, in Canada, only ~11% of plastics are recycled and public concern is quickly
growing about the impact of single-use plastics and disposable products (SUPPs).
Simon Fraser University (SFU) recently launched Re-use for Good, a Zero-Waste
initiative to implement and promote reusable alternatives to SUPPs. Proximis was
engaged in to produce a short animated video and a series of illustrated posters
promoting the different Re-use for Good initiatives being implemented across SFU
campuses such as reusable coffee mugs, water bottle refill stations and the phasing out
of plastic bottles in dining and vending.
