Early on in the Proximis era, we worked with the Provincial Government staff in the Ministry of International Trade and the Ministry of Citizens Services to design and build a website showcasing the BC Immigrant Investment Fund.

The website featured professional, clean, accessible design, in line with the Government’s overarching visual style. One of the most important and challenging aspects of this engagement was ensuring that the website displayed correctly on all browsers, including the outdated versions of Internet Explorer that were installed on government computers.

Working in Wordpress, we solved this problem by creating a primary theme and a special, custom-coded “child theme” for internet explorer.
