Our work in Haida Gwaii, and the trust we established, directly led to an expanded opportunity for a similar video project with the RCMP detachment in Tsay Keh Dene, BC. The remote location and limited access came with increased technical challenges, but of even greater significance was the heightened necessity for sensitivity and awareness while engaging with the community.

We created the final product of 22 minute length video. In addition to the work during our 5 days of production on location, we devoted a significant amount of post-production time to archival research and identification of further community-based stories to understand more about this place and the people we were representing.
